Artist's Comments

A picture I drew especially for the forthcoming Mangastyl fanzine. Mangastyl is an amateur artist webcommunity >> see here and here >> [link] (only in french, sorry)
We hope the fanzine will be ready asap... mmh, actually it was supposed to be finished in september but then we all went on vacation and then the weather was sunny and stuff... ^^; lol
Anyway, look forward to it ;) !

About the picture itself, let's say that I've spent a looooong time drawing the lineart with Open canvas, even if I said just a few days ago that I would never do that again... I'm in a very black&white mood these days :| ...
The character is Tarik, from Heredity (my online manga, blahblah :blahblah: ...) I wanted to draw him in several positions, and not give a damn about the background, that's why I imagined the model shooting session thing.

Original sketch size : A4 (29,7 x 21 cm).
Lineart with Open Canvas, "color" (well, *black* actually ) with Photoshop.

Lol....j'ai déjà donné mon avis là-dessus :Meïji aussi aurait été bien mieux, mais bon, je"peux", avec un peu d'effort, concevoir...."éventuellement"....que Tarik ait aussi "quelques" fans........:p .......ptdr.......Bon, ok, c'est top......même si c'est pas Meiji........

A ce propos, petit (minuscule scoop).......je te prépare un truc simple avec mon homme.............lol

Super classe !!! celui du milieu est super, mais je craque complètement pour celui du bas à droite, :wow: Celui qui se retourne en haut est sexy ! ;)

awesome work as usual ^^ i luv ur character design but the overall balace of the pic is amazing even though its black and white ^^

Wow, this is great! I wouldn't have had the patience to draw anything like that, so that just makes it even more awesome :D
I especially like the ones where he's wearing a suit and the one where you can see the top of his head and he's lying down.. But they are all very, very nice :heart:
