Hey, a silly question for you guys who know both APH and Weiß Kreuz (!Kapitel series, mainly) : don't you think France and Yohji are very much alike ? Also Spain reminds me of Ken, haha...

:bulletblack: In my latest journal entry I was saying that I didn't like to draw fanarts anymore, and since then I've been very busy drawing... fanarts. Duh. That's all your fault, Pr Layton.

:bulletblack: I had a grand-total of two different avatars on DA since my arrival here ; the first one lasted maybe two months, and since then I had the current one. Should I change ? As far as I'm concerned, it kinda disturbs me when one who'd always had the same avatar suddenly changes it, haha. Also, I wonder if some people imagine me as a blondie because of this avatar. I tend to picture people as their avatar when it represents human form, or at least imagine that they have the same kind of "style".
(Well, I DO wear exactly the same scarf as my character on the avatar, thinking of it...)

My twice-a-year update

Just a few words to get rid of the last old entry, basically.

Here are the news, not especially sorted out :

:bulletorange: I don't draw so much these days. Actually I don't do much in general (except work), been in a kinda gloomy state for a few months... but this dull phase seems to be over now *crosses fingers*. Let's hope I'll have some new stuff to post here from time to time.

:bulletorange: Two months ago I updated my general website bishiland with some new short comic about my BJD (yay for *fresh* news haha). It's only in french for the moment but an english translation is planned (half done for the moment.)

:bulletorange: My other account, ~ZaoNeS, is way more active than this one, because I really enjoy sewing for my dolls now, and I like to show their outfits. Which means that if you need to contact me rapidly, and see lots of dust and spiderwebs on this Solkeera account, you can maybe try on ZaoNeS. And vice versa (I can't be logged in both of them, and since I'm too lazy to check them regularly, when I'm logged in one it's generally for weeks.)

:bulletorange: Omg 200000+ pageviews. I wanted to throw a kiriban or something for the 200000th visit... but then I forgot, and the 200000th visitor happened to be me anyway, haha *loser*. Anyway thanks a lot to all of you who come and check my gallery ^^.

:bulletorange: I started to watch Hetalia. After all my efforts not to fall head first into the Kuroshitsuji's fandom craze... Damn you onisaka !
(Un?)-fortunately I don't seem to be able to bring myself to draw fanarts these days. It just depresses me to draw a character that I like, ten times uglier than the original. What the point ? When I'm good at drawing (or like what I draw), maybe I'll draw fanarts again. For now, I'm kinda lacking the motivation...
It's somehow safer to butcher my own characters, haha.
That's what I did a few days ago so now I'm gonna submit the result.

About my comics

I've been asked several questions about my comics lately so here are some perhaps-useful informations about them :

    :bulletgreen: Will my comics be translated in english someday

    For most of them the answer is unfortunately no, for two main reasons :
    - I'm far from fluent in english and I'd rather not translate the dialogs at all than having my oh-so-cool chars (/jk) sound like schoolkids or retards because of all the mistakes I make and the vocabulary I lack. Especially as I'm a bit of a perfectionist jerk when it comes to words.
    - I don't have so much free time and when I have some, I prefer to spend it on drawing new things / doing fun stuff (and tearing my hair on an english dictionary doesn't count as "fun stuff" imo, heh...)

    But I still plan to offer an english version of some new short projects I'm currently working on (one probably quite soon) so stay tuned !

    :bulletgreen: What is the boys'love collection I'm refering to in some of my latest devs / is it possible to have one

    It's a compilation of more or less old BL short comics I happened to draw during the last 4 years. Most of them have been online at some point - though hidden in creepy places - but there's also a few completely exclusive pages. All in french.
    Some extremely nice friends of mine sold it at the french convention Japan expo 2009. It had more success than I expected, I kinda underestimated the quantity to print ; so they sold out quite fast...

    Maybe I'll print it again one day, for example if I manage to draw enough readable stuff in the following year to make a number two. I'll advertise it here then ;).

OMG an update

The last entry was saying "merry christmas" so I thought maybe it was time to refresh at least this part of the page a bit, tehee.

You've probably noticed the obvious lack of updates on this account, as well as on my other "drawing" websites (the dolly ones are still pretty active.)
It's not that I don't draw anymore, I'm just not so much into illustrations these days... I spend most of my time drawing comics now, in french ; moreover, the few illustrations I drew recently are either b&w pics for comics, or BL stuff, or pics that are supposed to remain exclusive for conventions, so I can't even show them here.

Thanks a lot to all the people who still comment and fav my works, it's always an encouragement to keep on working on my art ♥.

For you, I'm going to submit a few things now and then, about my comics, just to show what I've been working on lately ^^.

Holidays

Hello, this is Solkeera, writing in her zombified-account...

I'd like to update it more often, but the thing is, I usually don't have a clue about what I could tell in this journal, haha.

Most of my drawings/comics these days are either doll-related, in french and/or private jokes, so there's not much left to share here, unfortunately...

Anyways I'm going to try to at least submit here the "less poor" pics I drew lately.
Since I'm in holidays for a few days I may even draw new stuff in the following weeks, who knows.

Also I wanted to thank and hug all the wonderful people here who keep on encouraging me in spite of my sometimes obvious lack of reaction.
It's true that I don't come here very often now, partly because I'm busy elsewhere (RL got me too...) partly because I feel kinda lost in a website that became too big for me, but I still read your replies with the same pleasure, they are part of what keeps me going in the way of this shojo-bishi-glowy art that I like... so :blowkiss: minna ! And have nice a nice xmas 'n stuff.
