Art summary 2016

This year has clearly been "THE IGNITION YEAR". This photostory project completely took over my inspiration, time and energy - for the best, I hope.

I'm very fond of this project, as it reminded me of how gratifying and utterly creative the BJD hobby can be. As pretentious as it may sound, when I'm working on these photostories, I don't feel like I'm playing with dolls, I feel like I'm making a movie. A very, very slow motion movie with very difficult actors, haha.
And the thrill is that I get to do everything it entails : casting, photography, lighting, setting, costumes, screenplay, dialogs, props... everything. I'm not good at everything, but I sure enjoy myself !

My only regret is that I didn't translate it in english right away from the start. Now that it's 800+ pics long already, I really can't muster the courage to translate and edit the panels one by one...

The loser of the deal is clearly MPA, which I hardly updated this year. There's no way I'm cancelling this comic, though. But it will continue to go very slowly until the end of Ignition, I'm afraid.

And surprisingly, I made more illustrations this year than the last. Most of the fanarts are FE:Fates or WK related, whereas the original stuff features Ignition characters or nature thingies I drew for my family.
